About Us

**
Our Mission**

We believe each project must meet the need of each individual. We strive to offer the best value-oriented building services in the market. Our attention to detail often surpasses our customers’ expectations. We will strive to be the best at meeting a particular need, and pledge to treat each and every customer openly and fairly. Everyone is entitled to our commitment; no matter the scale of the project.

**Personal History**

Mike has been happily married to his wife Ellen for 34 years. In 1977 both Mike and his wife graduated from NAU. Mike and Ellen have two sons, Gabe and Dan. Mike’s hobbies are photography, woodworking, jogging, bicycling, and anything to do with motorcycles.

**Business History**

Mike started in woodworking and cabinet making in 1978. This kept him busy and allowed him to meet several local residents who truly enjoyed Mike’s work. Small remodel projects soon gave him a reputation that kept the phone ringing. Mike obtained his General Contractor’s license in 1979. In the beginning, the company primarily performed residential and commercial remodeling. However, as MFC established a solid word of mouth reputation in Northern Arizona, the projects became larger. In 1992, the company became incorporated as Mike Furr Construction, Inc.

**Memberships**

Mike Furr Construction, Inc. is a member of multiple building and trade groups. The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), Northern Arizona Building Association (NABA), Remodelers Council (past chairman), Commercial Builders Council, Chamber of Commerce, Better Business Bureau, AMA life member, and Coconino County Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) just to name a few. Mike is also a past president of Northern Arizona Building Association. He remains active on many committees and is a current board member/life director of NABA.
